Christmas Island Underwater

During our brief stay, a few snorkels were had in the warm, clear water around Smith Point. Sheer bliss!

Plate Mound. These Acropora plate corals are just gorgeous!

The Usual Suspects. At a coral outcrop near the mooring, these blue-lined surgeonfish are the usual suspects in the usual place.

Garfish Crossing. Long thin robust garfish ply the surface water.

And so I obliged, and was so delighted with the clear warm water view! The Indian Ocean never ceases to amaze!

The coral beckoned!
