The Centre for Whale Research is proud to announce the release of their first book                                    The Secret Life of Whales by Micheline Jenner –just in time for Christmas!

2017 has just marched on by and here we are fast approaching the warm holiday season again!

Although the months have raced by, in between our other work, Micheline has been beavering away. A collection of memorable encounters with whales experienced by Curt and Micheline, form the framework of The Secret Life of Whales. Published by NewSouth Publishing in Sydney, Australia, this softcover book is an easy read, unveiling all sorts of secrets about the life of whales. Side orders of scientific information and aspects of island life and high seas living, accompany the main recounts. The marketing people go to town about the author, but of course, the events described are their story together. Curt and Micheline are a team– Micheline put pen to paper and tinkered on the keyboard, these notes and recounts recording their shared experiences and research endeavours.

With beautiful cover images from whale research colleague and friend Wayne Osborn and cover endorsement from Tim Winton, Curt and Micheline are very grateful and they hope you like it.
