Many species of fish are encountered during our coastal and oceanic travels. Some underwater, some on deck and some in our bellies!

Blue-lined surgeonfish are prevalent on the rocky shoreline of Christmas Island.

Acropora plate corals are just gorgeous along surrounded by fishy friends!

Garfish ply the surface water around Whale Song at Christmas Island.

This tiny oceanic flying fish landed on our deck, sadly unable to fly again.

The vibrant yellow and green colours of a pelagic mahi-mahi or dolphin fish can even be seen while being brought in on the line. Such a magnificent fish!

Wahoo! Because that’s what you do when you get one! Yum, this one was delicious!
