Several features uniquely identify this pygmy blue whale. Pale grey blotches cover the dorsal skin surface as well as fresh and healed scars from cookie cutter sharks. The small white blaze forward of the uniquely-shaped hooked dorsal fin, complete with attached goose-necked barnacle, also easily identify this individual – have we seen you before?
